Action for Children (formally the National Children’s Home) works to improve life for children in the UK. The vision of the organisation is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood and the foundations they need to thrive. Children are at the heart of everything they do. They are the blueprint for the way it works. Action for Children protect and support children and young people by providing practical and emotional care and support, make sure their voices are heard and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives.

Friends at Beeston Methodist Church have donated £200 over the past year by saving in collection boxes. If anyone would like a box at home, please contact the church office. Many thanks to all those who have donated for many years.
The collection on Christmas Day, 2022 raised £173 for Action for Children.
