A free practical series to help us develop our patterns of personal prayer, led by Christina Baxter. Please join us.
- What are we doing when we pray?
- Praying with, and without words
- Praying with the imagination
- Refreshing intercession – alone and with others
There will be teaching, time for questions, and opportunity to explore together our joys and struggles.
Dr Christina Baxter worships in Awsworth and Cossall Anglican churches, and was Principal of St John’s College, Nottingham until she retired in 2012. She is a Reader (lay preacher) and has been part of national and local church decision making. For many years she has taken a day each month to pray in Holy Cross Convent, and taught Spirituality in College and elsewhere. Now she has retired she enjoys swimming, gardening, concerts and other events.
